Fibres & Production Inputs
Coconut
Coir, for instance, is also known as coco fiber, which comes from the husks of coconuts in India and Sri Lanka. This strong, water-resistant fiber is a by-product of the coconut industry, making it a renewable resource. It is perfect for creating durable kitchen brushes, scrubbers, and mats, reducing waste in coconut farming and providing sustainable jobs to local communities. Each coir product is handcrafted, ensuring utility and a connection to nature.
Sisal
We source Sisal from Kenya and Tanzania, which thrive in tough, dry climates with lesser need for water or chemicals. Its high tensile strength makes it perfect for durable ropes, twines, and body care brushes. By choosing sisal, we support farming communities in East Africa while promoting sustainable agricultural practices that protect the environment.
Jute
Jute, often called the “golden fiber” for its soft, shiny, and biodegradable qualities. Sourced from the rain-fed fields of Bangladesh, jute is used to craft elegant eco-friendly packaging and textiles. It requires minimal water and fertilizer to grow, making it one of the most sustainable fibers available. More than 3.5 million people in Bangladesh rely on jute farming for their livelihood, making every jute product a testament to both nature's bounty and human perseverance.
Palmyra
From the landscapes of Sri Lanka comes Palmyrah, harvested from the Palmyra palm. Known for its strength and flexibility, this fiber is perfect for creating high-quality brooms and body brushes. Palmyrah grows naturally in arid regions with minimal water, providing a sustainable resource that supports rural communities while contributing to eco-friendly product development.
